All hail the new queen of British style.
Princess Beatrice topped Tatler magazine’s list of best-dressed Brits this year — and Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter has come a long way since her ridiculed royal wedding hat in 2011.
The 35-year-old royal was called the “princess of perfection” in Tatler’s September 2024 issue, which features a list of the top 25 style stars across Britain.
Beatrice beat out everyone from Cruz Beckham — who came in at number three on the list — to Jade Holland Cooper — founder of Kate Middleton’s beloved Holland Cooper fashion brand — to snag the number-one spot on the list.
Tatler called the mom of one “the pinnacle of contemporary splendor” in the article, citing her penchant for “pairing vintage-inspired cuts with fresh-from-the-catwalk glamour.”
The royal’s style has certainly evolved from “that Philip Treacy hat at the Prince and Princess of Wales’ wedding,” as Tatler pointed out, mixing up with her style to include more modern silhouettes and celeb-loved brands.
She’s also taken some sartorial cues from the Princess of Wales, 42, and her aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh, twinning with both royal women on several occasions.
Beatrice attended Royal Ascot 2024 in the same pink-and-white floral Zimmerman dress that her aunt Sophie, 59, wore just days before to the annual Order of the Garter ceremony.
The duchess seems to be a source of style inspo for the princess — or perhaps they swap clothing? — as Beatrice also wore the same pink Emilia Wickstead dress her aunt sported to Royal Ascot in 2018 while attending 2019’s Trooping the Colour event.
She’s also worn a shimmering green dress by The Vampire’s Wife that the Princess of Wales owns in a slightly different style, a fun floral frock by one of Middleton’s go-to dress brands, Me+Em and the same black Self-Portrait blazer dress that her cousin’s wife has previously sported.
Although she might’ve had a bit of a makeover, Beatrice still incorporates plenty of whimsical elements into her outfits, like the “Wifey for Lifey” clutch she carried during Queen Elizabeth II’s 2022 Platinum Jubilee.
The princess has shown off some impeccable casual style, too, wearing an olive green Zimmerman shirtdress and $125 Thousand Fell sneakers at the Glastonbury music festival in 2022.
As for her ever-changing style, we can’t wait to see what’s in store next for this fashionable royal.
