‘RHOC’ stars Alexis Bellino and John Janssen engaged after nine months of dating: ‘On Cloud 9’
Congratulations are in order for Alexis Bellino and John Janssen.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” stars got engaged during a trip to the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Tuesday, according to People.
Bellino, 47, took to Instagram Wednesday to further confirm Janssen, 61, popped the question on their 9-month dating anniversary.
“On Cloud 9 🎉❤️, celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you,” she captioned a snap alongside her now-fiancé.
“Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together. And the answer is 100000000% yes.”
The reality star concluded her sentimental post with the 1 Corinthians 13:13 bible verse, writing, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
The romantic photo showed the couple loved up on a bench as Bellino donned a little black dress and strappy high-heels.
She flashed her massive engagement ring while smiling at Janssen, who wore a blue blazer and black slacks for the special occasion.
The duo’s engagement comes after Bellino confirmed she and her beau were “talking about the future for sure” and looking at engagement rings, during an interview with E! News in July.
“We both are kind of like ‘pinch me’ in the fact that we truly found like a best friend and someone that we want to ride the rest of this life out with together,” she gushed at the time.
Bellino also alluded to the backlash she received from critics alleging she stole Janssen from fellow “RHOC” star Shannon Beador, saying, “This is reality, and we are in love. Our kids are a group now, our dogs are acclimated, so we’re moving forward.”
Bellino and Janssen were first romantically linked in November 2023, less than a year after Beador confirmed she and Janssen separated after dating on and off for four years.
In December 2023, the newly engaged couple hard launched their romance on Instagram with photos of themselves packing on the PDA on a boat.
That same month, Janssen gifted Bellino a promise ring for Christmas.
Bellino has been open about her whirlwind romance, as she raved about her active sex life during the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast in June.
Claiming she and Janssen were having intercourse “more than” four times a day, she shared, “I told him I did not know human anatomy could do this.
“I keep telling him I’m going to have to get, like, vaginal rejuvenation. The difference is we do stay together almost seven nights a week now.”
The Bravolebrity was previously married to ex Jeff Barry, from 2002 to 2004, and Jim Bellino, from 2005 to 2018, to whom she shares James, 17, and twins Mackenna and Miles, 16.
As for Janssen, he shares two kids from a previous marriage.
