Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek have ‘no bad blood’ despite tense Paris Fashion Week exchange: source
Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek are just fine despite their seemingly tense Paris Fashion Week exchange, Page Six is told.
A source insists to us that “there’s no bad blood between” the actresses, who “adore each other.”
A video of Kidman, 57, and Hayek, 58, interacting outside the Balenciaga runway show late last month made its rounds online over the weekend.
In the clip, the stars were seen surrounded by eager photographers and their incessant flashes.
After one of the paps asked for “one more” photo, the “Frida” star used her hand to turn Kidman toward the camera.
However, the “Moulin Rouge!” star appeared to want nothing to do with the commotion and moved Hayek’s hand away before walking off.
Katy Perry, who was standing close by, then entered the frame and posed for pictures with Hayek.
UK-based expert witness and forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman later broke down the ladies’ seemingly icy encounter, telling Page Six what he believed they said to each other.

“Let’s turn there. OK, here,” Hayek appears to have told Kidman, who purportedly replied, “Hey, I’m fine. I’m good. There, it’s enough. It’s OK.”
Hayek then seemingly began to say, “We have to…” before putting her hand on Perry’s shoulder.
“That’s fine, that’s fine,” the Mexican actress added before directing the pop star, 39, to look at the photographers, according to Freeman.
Our source echoes what an eyewitness recently told People about the viral moment, explaining that “nothing happened.”
According to the observer, “They were being bombarded by cameras at the end of the show while in the middle of a conversation.”
Kidman and Hayek appeared to behave normally toward each other throughout other parts of the evening, with the latter even going on to post photos of them together.
“Finally last night the grand finale of my Paris Fashion Week 2025. Balenciaga and Demna for a terrific show @katyperry @lindsaylohan @nicolekidman @balenciaga,” the “Desperado” star captioned an Instagram carousel featuring a snap with the Australian actress.
A few social media users pointed out that perhaps Kidman was “just not feeling the moment and that’s OK,” noting that the event marked the “Rabbit Hole” star’s first public appearance since her mother’s sudden death in early September.
