Jelly Roll quits social media after being ‘bullied’ about his weight, wife Bunnie Xo says

Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, revealed he took a break from social media after being relentlessly “bullied” about his weight.

“My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f—king weight, and that makes me want to cry because he is the sweetest angel baby,” she explained on a recent episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast.

Although the “Son of a Sinner” singer “doesn’t show it,” Bunnie said the negative comments really “hurt him.”

“The internet can say whatever the f—k they want about you and they say, ‘Well you’re a celebrity. You’re supposed to be able to handle it.’ No the f—k we’re not,” she said in the clip posted to TikTok.

“Enough is enough,” she added.

The model, 44, then spoke about the impacts of cyberbullying, urging people to think twice before leaving hate comments online.

“Don’t bully people, because you never know where they are mentally,” she continued. “There are a lot of people who are not as strong as me, that are on the internet, and they don’t deserve to f—kin’ be bullied.”

The Grammy nominee, 39, has been open about his weight struggles over the years, revealing in 2018 that he once surpassed 500 pounds.

Jelly was told at the time that he was “too fat to be in the music business” and would never succeed, he recalled in his documentary, “Jelly Roll: Save Me.”

However, the “Need a Favor” singer — who has also overcome addiction, incarceration and mental health struggles — proved the naysayers wrong and has since become one of the hottest stars in country music.

Amid his success, the rapper dedicated the last year and a half to his health journey and has since lost “70-something pounds.”

“I’ve been really kicking ass, man,” he told People earlier this month while training for an upcoming 5k.

“I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I’m eating healthy right now.”

The heavily tattooed rapper said he is more motivated than ever and is starting to “feel really good” in his skin.

“I was thinking, I plan on losing another 100, 100-and-something [pounds],” he said. “If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I’m going to feel like by the time I go on tour.”

Jelly’s “Beautifully Broken” tour kicks off in August.
