Brittany Cartwright caught in a tense moment with Jax Taylor at son’s daycare center amid divorce
Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor had an awkward exchange Wednesday that was caught on camera.
The “Valley” co-stars were photographed chatting outside of their 3-year-old son Cruz‘s daycare center in Los Angeles amid their divorce.
Cartwright, who wore a white sweatsuit and sneakers, appeared visibly annoyed during the interaction with Taylor and a third individual.
At one point, Cartwright, 35, started to walk away from her estranged husband, but Taylor, 45, seemingly attempted to continue talking to her.
The former SUR bartender stood looking confused in a hoodie and black pants while his soon-to-be ex stepped away with her arms crossed.
While Taylor appeared to be speaking, Cartwright checked her phone and did not pay him any attention.

Reps for the pair have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
However, sources exclusively tell us that every day is different for Taylor and Cartwright while navigating their divorce, as they experience lots of ups and downs depending on the day.
We’re told some days are harder and more tumultuous than the others for the estranged couple, who have shared similar sentiments in recent times.
Our sources note that Cartwright is having a particularly difficult time dealing with social media comments about her appearance and role as a mom, which she touched upon in the latest episode of Kristen Doute’s podcast.
We’re told Cartwright has also heard rumblings about Taylor being with other women, which has exacerbated the situation.
The “Vanderpump Rules” alums have been co-parenting their little one since announcing their separation in February.
Six months later, Cartwright filed for divorce.
She requested legal and physical custody at the time, with Taylor making headlines earlier this month for granting his estranged wife full custody — and mistakenly claiming in self-submitted court documents that they had not been legally married.
However, his rep later told Page Six that Taylor “made errors” while filling out the forms, which would be “amended without delay.”
The spokesperson explained, “Jax and Brittany have already long resolved all matters related to custody of Cruz and will continue to work together privately for the best interest of their son, which remains their overriding concern.”
Cartwright shaded Taylor via Instagram at the time, quipping that “filling out paperwork is hard for some people.”
Taylor has since refiled for divorce from Cartwright.
Page Six recently broke the news that Cartwright began casually hooking up with Taylor’s friend Julian Sensley after their split.
The Bravolebrities subsequently kept their distance while attending Us Weekly’s Reality Stars of the Year event last week, where Cartwright gushed to us about “enjoying being single.”
