Bethenny Frankel enjoys beach day with German artist Niclas Castello on St. Tropez trip with daughter Bryn
A newly single Bethenny Frankel was spotted enjoying a beach day with German artist Niclas Castello during her St. Tropez vacation with daughter Bryn.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, 53, and the sculptor, 46, were photographed lounging on adjacent chairs with her 14-year-old child on Wednesday.
Frankel and Castello appeared to be enjoying each other’s company as they smiled and chatted enthusiastically while soaking up the sunny weather.
The former Bravolebrity looked stylish in a coral one-piece bathing suit with an open back and metal detailing on the straps.
She accessorized with a big floppy hat, sunglasses, a chunky gold chain necklace and coordinating bracelets.
A shirtless Castello looked cool in blue patterned board shorts, sunglasses and a backward green New York Yankees baseball cap.
At one point, Frankel was seen laughing as she faced Castello. In another moment, the painter was seen holding what appeared to be a glass of rosé.
Both Frankel and Castello took a dip in the sparkling sea while Bryn looked relaxed napping under an umbrella.
It is unclear whether the pair are romantically involved. Their reps did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
News broke in May that the Skinnygirl founder — who shares her teen daughter with ex-husband Jason Hoppy — and her ex-fiancé Paul Bernon had ended their six-year relationship.
“It just wasn’t going to work,” a source told Us Weekly at the time, adding, “They are so different — he’s an under-the-radar kind of guy.”
Following their breakup, the investment banker had a fling with Aurora Culpo, though they split in July after just two months together.
Aurora, 35, later claimed Bernon, 45, had dumped her after her sister Olivia Culpo called him the “flavor of the month” on a podcast ahead of the former Miss USA’s wedding to Christian McCaffrey.
“The next day, he called me and said, ‘It’s not working,’” she shared on her “Barely Filtered” podcast last week.
“He was not the flavor of the month. He was the flavor of two months,” she joked. “I would have preferred it to go longer, but unfortunately he dumped me.”
Aurora also blasted Frankel for being the first to publicly reveal her breakup from Bernon, calling the former “Housewife” “petty” on her podcast.
“PSA guys: It’s not a good look to announce the breakup of your ex-boyfriend with his new girlfriend,” Aurora said. “It looks petty, it looks bitter, and it’s not your story to tell, but she did.”
Aurora noted that she has no negative feelings toward Bernon and still thinks of him as a great guy.

“Just because we can’t be together doesn’t mean that I’m mad at him or doesn’t mean that I don’t still think he’s an amazing person. He is,” she said, adding that he’s “such a nice guy. He’s sweet. He’s generous. He’s a great dad, super funny.”
Frankel seems to be taking the breakup quite well, as she is single and ready to mingle. She even shared one of her dating stories on TikTok.
Last week, she told her fans that she called off a set-up date when she saw the man en route to their meetup and realized he was not her type.
Castello, for his part, was married to Dutch TV personality Sylvie Meis from September 2020 to June 2023.
He celebrated their divorce in a recent Instagram post by sharing a photo from their wedding with the caption, “Happy divorce day🕊️How great to still have a friend in you. 🤍.”
The contemporary artist is known for his “The Kiss” sculpture series and fire extinguisher art.
