Derek Jeter cozies up to wife Hannah in rare personal photos from ‘great summer’ vacation
Derek Jeter is celebrating the end of a “great summer.”
The former New York Yankees shortstop shared a series of photos on Instagram Wednesday from his sun-filled travels, including a few with his wife, Hannah Jeter.
Derek, 50, opened the carousel with a picture of the pair, who wed in 2016, snuggled up while on vacation. In the personal snap, he stood behind Hannah, 34, with an arm draped across her chest.
The couple was seemingly headed down for a day at the beach, as the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model wore a blue bathing suit under her white romper.
The next photo showed Hannah relaxing on a lavish yacht while wearing a custom T-shirt with an old image of her husband.
Although Derek posted three snaps with his wife, the ultra-private athlete did share any of their four kids: daughters Bella, 7, Story, 5, and River, 2, and son Kaius, 1.
However, he did include several pictures with other famous athletes — such as Tom Brady, Klay Thompson, Joe Montana, Deion Sanders and more.
The five-time World Series champion’s summer schedule was packed, from Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fourth of July white party to meetups with former teammates and working as an analyst for the MLB.
Derek also included a photo from his lavish 50th birthday party, where he reconnected with CC Sabathia, Bernie Williams, Joe Torre, Tino Martinez and Jorge Posada.
Hannah threw the New York sports icon the surprise party at the exclusive ZZ’s Club in June.
The former baseball player, who wore a gray suit with a white T-shirt underneath, looked stunned as he stepped out of the elevator and saw his family and friends waiting for him, per pictures posted to Instagram.
The cover girl, for her part, looked overjoyed by his reaction. She stunned in a Prada minidress and a green sequin purse.
Although the couple rarely show PDA, Derek posted a few photos of the pair snuggled up while sipping on some cocktails.
The couple seemingly found a babysitter for the night. However, even if their kids were there, they likely would not have posted any photos of them.
In 2019, Hannah told Editorialist magazine that social media “has never felt natural” to her.

“I know it’s necessary in my industry, and I absolutely have to when it’s part of a contract. But a lot of people post their children and husbands, and for me that will never be the case,” she said at the time.
“Both my husband and I have been in a place in our careers where we have to share so much. And we can handle it. But when you love something so much, you want to protect it more than anything in the world. And for me, that’s my relationship, that’s my kids.”
Derek and Hannah met in 2012 but kept their romance under wraps until 2015.
