Inside Meghan Markle’s $1.4M Toronto home she lived in at the start of Prince Harry romance

Meghan Markle was living it up in Toronto before Prince Harry swept her off her feet.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began dating in 2016, Markle was living in a $1.4 million home in the most populous city in Canada while she filmed “Suits” for several seasons.

The property — which Markle, 43, reportedly rented for two years with her dogs, Bogart and Guy, from stylist Elizabeth Cabral — features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an eat-in chef’s kitchen that leads out to a private backyard, perfect for entertaining and relaxing.

The newly renovated home is complete with a Tiffany & Co.-colored entry door, wide plank hardwood flooring, a modernized basement and a two-car car garage complete with a Tesla charger.

In a 2022 interview with The Cut, Markle called her house “calm and healing” and said that it made her “feel free.”

According to a listing for the house, it is located close to two subway stations, five grocery stores, excellent schools, an ice skating rink, parks and a community center.

Harry, 40, would travel from London to visit the “Suits” alum at the home in the heart of Annex’s Seaton Village twice a month during their early stages of dating.

In 2017, Markle moved to the UK to be with the Invictus Games founder and the pair tied the knot the following year.

The year after the mom of two relocated across the pond, the owners of the Toronto home sold it for $1.6 million. Most recently, the Toronto residence was sold for nearly $1.9 million in August.

Harry and Markle now live in a gorgeous $14 million Tuscan-style mansion in Montecito, Calif., with their two children: Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

The couple’s 18,000-square-foot home features nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a pool, a tennis court, a two-bed guest house, a rose garden and a children’s cottage.
